Ecomentic | Sovereign Commerce Infrastructure

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines unacceptable uses of Ecomentic's commerce operating system, APIs, and infrastructure. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with this policy.

1. Prohibited Content and Activities

You may not use Ecomentic to sell, promote, or distribute any of the following:

Illegal drugs, regulated substances, or related paraphernalia.
Counterfeit goods or unauthorized replicas.
Weapons, firearms, ammunition, or explosives.
Content that promotes hate, violence, harassment, or discrimination based on race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation.
Adult content, pornography, or sexually explicit material.
Products or services that infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.

2. Network and API Abuse

You agree not to engage in any activity that compromises the security, performance, or availability of the Ecomentic infrastructure:

Bypassing or attempting to bypass API rate limits or security mechanisms.
Distributing malware, viruses, trojans, or any other destructive code.
Performing unauthorized penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, or load testing without prior written consent from Ecomentic.
Using our APIs to facilitate Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks.
Scraping our admin dashboards or endpoints using unauthorized automated scripts.

3. Spam and Unsolicited Communications

Ecomentic provides built-in tools for transactional and marketing communications (e.g., Email, WhatsApp). You may not use these tools to send unsolicited spam, misleading messages, or communications that violate anti-spam laws such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR, or TRAI regulations.

4. Enforcement and Suspension

Ecomentic reserves the right, but does not assume the obligation, to investigate any violation of this AUP. If we determine a violation has occurred, we may, at our sole discretion, suspend or terminate your tenant account, disable your API keys, and remove access to your storefront.

In cases of severe legal violations, we may report activities to appropriate law enforcement authorities.

5. Reporting Violations

If you believe a tenant on the Ecomentic platform is violating this Acceptable Use Policy, please report it immediately to our trust and safety team at [email protected].
