Multi-Location Support
Manage inventory across different physical warehouses or retail outlets. Ecomentic tracks exactly how many units are available at each location.
How to add a Location
- Navigate to Settings > Shop Locations.
- Click New Location and enter the address and contact details.
- Assign this location as a "Pickup Point" for shipping if applicable.
Stock Adjustments
- Manual Override: Directly edit stock levels for specific SKUs at any time.
- Stock In/Out: Record incoming shipments or removals with reason codes (e.g., Damaged, Return, Re-stock).
- Low Stock Alerts: Set threshold levels for each product to receive automated notifications when stock is running low.
Automated Sync & Reservations
Ecomentic automatically reduces stock levels as orders are placed. If an order is cancelled or returned, stock is automatically added back to the designated warehouse after QC approval.
Flash Sale Soft Holds
During high-traffic Flash Sales, the system uses Inventory Reservations. When a customer adds a flash sale item to their cart, the stock is "soft held" in Redis for a specific TTL (e.g. 10 minutes). If they do not checkout in time, the reservation expires and the stock is returned to the pool for other customers.
