Managing Products
Your product catalog is the heart of your online store. Ecomentic makes it easy to add, organize, and showcase your items.
Adding a Product
- Navigate to Shop > Products in the sidebar.
- Click the New Product button.
- Fill in basic details: Name, Slug (URL), and SKU (Unique identifier).
- Upload high-quality images to the gallery.
- Set your price and cost.
Inventory & Tracking
Ensure you check the "Track Stock" option if you want the system to automatically deduct quantity as sales happen. You can also set a "Security Stock" level to receive alerts when items are running low.
Variants
If your product comes in different sizes, colors, or materials, use the Variants tab to create multiple combinations. Each variant can have its own price, SKU, and stock level.
Deleting & Restoring
Ecomentic uses a safe-delete system:
- Trash: When you delete a product, it is moved to the Trash rather than being permanently removed.
- Viewing Deleted Items: You can see your deleted products by clicking the "Filters" button in the product list and selecting the "Trash" filter.
- Restoring: From the Trash view, you can restore a product to its active state or choose to permanently delete it.
