How Subscriptions Work
Customers can choose to receive a product at regular intervals (e.g., Every 2 weeks, Monthly, or Yearly). The system handles the scheduling and automated order creation.
Configuration
- Enable subscriptions for a specific product in the product editor.
- Define allowed frequencies (Weekly, Monthly, etc.).
- Offer a discount for subscribers to encourage sign-ups (optional).
Dunning Management
If a recurring payment fails, the system automatically retries the card up to 3 times before pausing the subscription and notifying you and the customer.
Offline Subscriptions
You can offer "offline" or "manual" subscriptions (e.g. Bank Transfer or Cash on Delivery). For these, the system will automatically create a pending order at the subscription interval, and you must manually collect payment and mark the order as Confirmed.
Stripe Payments Warning
If you are using Stripe for subscription payments, note that the platform operates in Platform-Key Mode. Direct merchant-to-customer Stripe Connect onboarding is not yet available. All payments will flow through the central platform Stripe account and require manual payouts.
